FUEL FEEDING SYSTEMS

Spreader system

Fuel is continuously fed onto the grate by pneumatic spreaders and flies to the upper end of the grate. In suspension the fuel will experience partly drying and smaller particles and dust will ignite and support the stable heat release. A pulsing pressure in the spreader air ensures distribution of the fuel. From the landing area in the upper end of the grate, the vibration transport function will level out the layer to cover the entire cross section of the grate. Fuel quality can be selected from a number of default values or a specific LHV/m³ can be given by operator. Variations will be adjusted based on air flow measurements and flue gas O2 %.
