FGD plant at Asnæs Power Station handed over to Dong Energy A/S

On 11 February 2010 BWE handed over the FGD plant at Asnæs Power Station to Dong Energy - 17 days before the expected date of delivery which was 1 March according to the time schedule.

The project was completed in just 22 months and 4 days from the LOI, which is the shortest project execution time ever for a flue gas desulphurisation plant of this size and complexity in Europe. In addition, the plant was handed over after only 1 month of commissioning.

The project was carried out under a very tight time schedule, and BWE is happy to announce that the result is an excellent and well-functioning facility.
