Rehabilitation and updating of Regenerative Air Preheaters at Fusina Power Station

In consortium with its Italian parent company STF S.p.A. BWE has been awarded a contract from Enel for the rehabilitation of two Air Preheaters at Fusina Power Station in Italy.

Together with a major rehabilitation, the Air Preheaters will be updated to the newest BWE design including BWE's advanced Active Leakage Control system, new heating elements, and new multi fluid soot blowers.

The work on the two Air Preheaters at Fusina unit 3 will be carried out during the 2010 outage period.
