Gas-Gas Heaters for Honam Power Station Unit 1&2

BWE has been awarded a contract from Halla Energy & Environment for the supply of engineering and key components for two Gas-Gas Heaters (GGH) to be installed at the Honam Power Station, Units 1&2, in Korea. The GGHs will be part of the large life-extension project for these units which also includes an environmental refurbishment of the units with new FGD plants. The power station is owned and operated by Korean East West Power Company (EWP).

The GGHs will be of size 30.5 (12.13 m rotor diameter) and equipped with a complete leakage minimizing system. The cleaned flue gases will be reheated to above 90 °C before being discharged to the atmosphere through the stack.
