BWE technology in CER agreement with China

On January 17, 2007, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed an agreement for purchasing certified emission reductions (CER) from National Bio Energy Ltd., Peoples Republic of China. This clean development mechanism (CDM) - project is based on generation from Shanxian Biomass Power Plant where the 30 MWe biomass boiler is designed by BWE.

The Kyoto Protocol has established CDM for obtaining CERs by financing emission-reduction (CO2 equivalents) abroad. For more information see "First Agreement in China for purchase of Certified Emission Reductions signed" at www.danishcdm.um.dk.
