New District Heating Economizer for Viborg CHP

BWE has been awarded a contract from Viborg Kraftvarme A/S for the supply of an additional district heating economizer for the CHP Viborg Kraftvarmeværk in Denmark. The boiler, a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) originally supplied by BWE in 1996, has a capacity of 64 tons of steam per hour. The new district heating economizer will increase the CHP output to the district heating system by more than 2 MJ/s.

The contract comprises engineering, supply and erection of the new district heating economizer as well as the necessary modifications of the flue gas ducting between HRSG and stack.
