USC Projects in China

Following the Riso International Energy Conference 23 - 25 May 2005, it has been rumoured that Burmeister & Wain Energy A/S has received orders or been awarded contracts to take part in the construction of Ultra Super Critical (USC) power plants in China. This is not correct. Burmeister & Wain Energy A/S has not received any orders nor has it been awarded any contracts to take part in the construction of USC power plants in China.

Furthermore, Burmeister & Wain Energy has not entered into any licence agreement relating to the use of USC technology in China, whether with the Chinese companies, Dragon Power Ltd, Shandong Luneng Corporation Group or otherwise.
