Steel works for Uppsala SCR

BWE has been chosen as supplier of all steel works for the new SCR (selective catalytic reduction) installation at Vattenfall's power plant Värme Uppsala, Sweden.

The complete SCR-system will remove NOx from the flue gas from the coal, oil, peat and biomass fired 200 MWe unit. The BWE scope of supply includes engineering, production and erection. The boiler will return to normal operation by October 2005.
