Contract for Ducts to Amagerværket unit 2

BWE has received an order from Energi E2 for design, production and erection of ducts for Amagerværket Unit 2. The order includes delivery of ducts, dampers, expansions, platforms, hangers & supports. The delivery also includes dismantle of existing ducts for primary-air to the mills. The work will be carried out from April to August 2003.

The implementation of new ducts on Amagerværket Unit 2 is part of a program, changing the fuel used in unit 2 from coal to straw-pellets, using existing mills. To reduce the risk of ignition in the mills, it has therefore been chosen to use inert mixed flue gas and fresh air, as primary air.
