Combustion systems in general
BWE can deliver complete systems for multiple fuel types. The overall systems will typically consist of silos and feeders and of cause mills, PF-piping and burners. Design and choice of feeders and mills will be based on fuel characteristics and BWE specifications and will typically be selected from the top end suppliers within this field. BWE will design according to clients´ specifications typically EN or NFPA requirements.

As an example, BWE can design a hammer mill tower with advanced lay-outs with optimized features for the key evaluation points covering most aspects related to costs, footprint, personnel and machine protection. The operational reliability will be built into the design and can be proven by the choice of capacity, actual test runs and again a smart layout. BWE has succeeded with a layout which combines all these basic requirements and also leaves room and practical features for optimized service and maintenance.
Hammer mill tower equipment
First of all the project requirements to the capacity of the hammer mills and the size of the intermediate silo are of importance to optimize the layout. Have in mind that the hammer mill system will include a feeder arrangement and in the end also a cyclone bag filter system. At the outlet of the cyclone bag filter a rotary airlock feeder connected to a blower and the PF-piping requires smart layout for earlier mentioned reasons and of cause for the sake of the process.
Sub-Systems for fossil fuels
For new plants or retrofits BWE designs and specifies all the traditional equipment groups needed for stable and safe operation. Additional to coal feeders, coal mills and PF-piping BWE will design and specify from high end suppliers gas trains and oil stations as skid mounted completely preassemble and tested units.
BWE Low-NOx Burners
BWE Low-NOx Burners design covers multiple variants. BWE will design to clients existing plant or to new plant specification being a windbox design or single duct design. For larger new BWE plants normally as T-firing or FW-firing, but in special layouts also for opposed firing. Special/Individual arrangements can be relevant in some situations such as floor mounted burners for compact foot print.
